What is Stevia?
Stevia is a species of herbs and shrubs in the sunflower family. Its origins trace back to subtropical and tropical regions from western North America to South America. Stevia Rebaudiana, the sweetest stevia species, has been harvested for centuries for its sugar-like taste. In the early 1970′s, Japan began cultivating stevia in an effort to reduce consumption of cyclamate and saccharin, known carcinogens. Stevia received approval as a food additive in the United States and Europe in 2008 and 2011, respectively.
What is Reb A?
We start with the highest quality leaf, and then extract only the sweetest part, leaving the less desirable traits behind. What we’re left with is 99% Reb A, a clean white powder that is more than 350 times the sweetness of sugar.
What goes into Pyure Stevia?

Because we are in a single serve industry, to provide an easy to use product we needed to pair stevia with a bulking agent to add some substance.
We put a lot of time into finding the perfect partner for our stevia and have chosen to pair our Reb A extract with Agave Inulin, and Erythritol.
We do have plans to create a solo stevia product in the future.
What is Agave Inulin?
Agave Inulin is a highly soluble dietary fibre that acts as a pre-biotic.
Agave Inulin is not Agave, or Agave Syrup, but rather a by-product of the syrup extraction process.
What is Erythritol?
Erythritol is the only easily digestible polyol derived from corn, and is 70% the sweetness of sugar. Pyure was the first to introduce Organic Certified and NonGMO Verified Erythritol to the market.
What is your “Natural Flavor”?
Our “Natural Flavor” only makes up about 0.55 % of our blend and is derived from a combination of rice hulls (or rice husks) and citric acid.
Is Pyure diabetic friendly?
YES! Our sachets will not spike your glycemic index. However, our Bakeable Blend might not be a good fit.
How can I trust that Pyure products are Organic and Non-GMO?
We don’t just state it. We get certified! Pyure follows a strict sample program with Organic Certifiers and the NonGMO Program that includes DNA Testing for all of our ingredients. We also hold yearly audits by third party certification companies to ensure consistent quality throughout our manufacturing process.
Will Pyure Stevia give me cavities?
Nope! Stevia is a non-nutritive sweetener so the bacteria in your mouth has nothing to feed on.
Can I cook/bake with your sachets?
You sure can! But, keep in mind you’re losing mass so the texture may change. Our sachets are 8 times sweeter than sugar; if you’re looking for a 1/1 solution be sure to check out our Bakeable Blend.
